What This Service Involves

Quartz rock is a hard, glassy stone in sparkling white, cream, and blush-rose tones that catches light and stands out against dark Northwest bark and evergreens. It is often chosen for high-visibility accent beds, entry borders, and specimen plantings where a clean, premium look matters. The dense stone resists staining and weathering, holding its bright color through our wet seasons better than softer rock. Because it is a designer accent, quartz is typically used in smaller, well-defined areas rather than broad coverage.

Our Process

1) Prepare and grade the accent bed with attention to clean edges; 2) Install landscape fabric to keep white stone from mixing with soil; 3) Add a thin leveling base for an even, flat presentation; 4) Spread and hand-level quartz over the fabric-lined bed for a crisp finish

Quartz can be installed year-round, but a dry day makes it easier to keep the bright stone free of mud during placement.
