What This Service Involves

When your mulch has settled and thinned but hasn't fully broken down, a refresh tops it back up to protective depth without the cost of a full replacement. We clear debris, knock back any weeds, and add a new layer of organic mulch that renews color and rebuilds the moisture barrier. It's the ideal seasonal tune-up for established Puget Sound beds that just need a lift. Because the base stays in place, we add only the depth required to reach a healthy two to three inches.

Our Process

1) Clear leaves, twigs, and surface debris from the beds; 2) Pull visible weeds and lightly cultivate the surface; 3) Feather the existing mulch to level low spots; 4) Apply a fresh organic layer and taper it away from trunks
