What This Service Involves

Sod gives you a finished lawn immediately instead of waiting months for seed to fill in. We start by removing the old lawn or weeds, grade and amend the soil so the ground drains and roots take hold, then lay fresh-cut sod tightly with staggered seams for a seamless finish. Cool-season blends suited to the Pacific Northwest knit into the soil within a couple of weeks when watered correctly. Done right, sod resists erosion on slopes, crowds out weeds from day one, and stands up to foot traffic far sooner than a seeded lawn.

1) Remove old turf and clear debris; 2) Grade and amend the soil for drainage and root contact; 3) Lay fresh sod tightly with staggered, offset seams; 4) Roll the surface to press roots into the soil; 5) Water deeply and set an establishment watering schedule
