What This Service Involves

Many Western Washington yards start with narrow beds that quickly feel cramped as shrubs mature in our fast-growing climate. Expanding a bed lets us right-size the space for layered plantings, reduce hard-to-mow turf, and create sweeping lines that suit the property. We remove sod, address the compacted clay underneath, and prepare fresh soil so newly opened ground drains well and supports healthy roots. The expanded footprint gives your landscape depth and reduces long-term lawn upkeep.

Our Process

1) Lay out the new bed shape with you and mark the perimeter; 2) Strip existing sod and remove turf roots; 3) Loosen and amend the newly exposed soil; 4) Define the new edge and finish with mulch
