What This Service Involves

A quality layer of mulch is one of the best defenses against the Pacific Northwest's weed pressure and moisture extremes. We select bark or compost mulch suited to your plants, apply it at the right depth to retain moisture in summer and buffer roots through wet winters, and keep it pulled back from stems to prevent rot. Proper mulching also suppresses the persistent weeds that thrive in our mild climate and gives beds a clean, finished look. Applied correctly, it feeds the soil as it breaks down over the season.
