What This Service Involves

Northwest soils lean acidic and can grow depleted, and a compost installation rebuilds fertility the natural way. We spread a screened, mature compost layer over beds, native plantings, or lawns, where it feeds soil biology, improves structure, and boosts water retention through the dry summer. It's the organic foundation for healthy rhododendrons, vegetables, and turf across the Puget Sound region. We can top-dress on its own or work it in as a base before mulch goes down.

Our Process

1) Assess bed or lawn areas and clear surface debris; 2) Lightly cultivate compacted surfaces to help incorporation; 3) Spread screened, mature compost to an even depth; 4) Rake smooth and, where requested, top with mulch
