What This Service Involves

Granite is one of the hardest and least absorbent natural stones available, which makes it exceptional for high-traffic Pacific Northwest surfaces that stay wet for months. Flamed or thermal finishes give it a grippy, slip-resistant texture ideal for driveways, stair treads, and entryways where safety matters in the rain. Its speckled grays, tans, and pinks hold color permanently and resist the etching and moss staining that soften lesser stones. We install granite over a deeply compacted base with precise drainage fall, taking advantage of its density to shrug off freeze-thaw for decades.

Our Process

1) Confirm layout, finish, and drainage plan; 2) Excavate and compact a deep aggregate base; 3) Screed a bedding course sized to the pavers; 4) Set granite units with tight, even joints; 5) Sweep polymeric sand, compact, and set edge restraints
