What This Service Involves

A properly built gravel path gives your landscape structure and stays firm underfoot even through Puget Sound's soggy months. We excavate to a stable base, install a compacted sub-layer and fabric, then top with crushed gravel or pea stone that drains freely and won't turn to mud. Edging holds the path clean and keeps gravel from migrating into beds and lawn. We grade for positive drainage so water sheds off the surface rather than pooling.

Our Process

1) Excavate the pathway and remove soft or organic soil; 2) Install fabric and a compacted crushed-rock base; 3) Set edging to contain the gravel and define the line; 4) Top with the chosen gravel and compact to a stable finish
