Shaping Your Outdoors. Surpassing Expectations.
We install sump pump systems that actively collect and pump water out of low areas where gravity drainage is not possible.
When your low point sits below any available outlet, gravity drainage simply cannot move the water, which is common on flat PNW lots and near foundations. We set a sealed sump basin at the collection point, plumb drainage lines into it, and install a reliable pump that discharges water uphill to a safe outfall. A float switch activates the pump automatically as water rises, and we can add a battery backup for winter storm outages. This gives you dependable protection where standing water would otherwise have nowhere to drain.
Removes water where gravity drainage is impossible; Automatic float activation during storms; Protects basements, crawl spaces, and low yards; Battery-backup options for power outages; Reliable through heavy PNW winter rainfall
1) Locate the lowest collection point and set the sump basin; 2) Plumb surrounding drain lines into the basin; 3) Install the pump, float switch, and check valve; 4) Route the discharge line to a safe uphill outlet; 5) Wire the system and test pump cycling under load
Pump horsepower and required lift height; Basin size and installation depth; Electrical work and backup power options; Length and routing of the discharge line; Excavation through concrete or compacted soil
Can be installed year-round, though drier months simplify excavation and electrical connections at the basin location.
