What This Service Involves

Years of relentless Western Washington rain compact soil, leach nutrients, and let moss and liverwort take over once-vibrant beds. Our renovation service removes spent and invasive plantings, amends the heavy clay soils common across the Sound with compost and grit, and re-establishes proper grade so water moves away from your foundation. We then reset plant spacing and structure so each specimen has room to breathe through our long, damp shoulder seasons. The result is a bed that looks intentional in spring and stays manageable through the wet months.
